ਮਾਸ ਮਛੀ ਨਹੀ ਖਾਣ ਬਨ ਗਏ ਵੈਸ਼ਨੋ
By stopping (consumption of) Meat and fish, they became Vegetarians (Bandai Khalsa)
ਪਯਾ ਵਿਖਾਧਦ ਸੀ ਆਣ, ਮਧ ਇਵ ਖਾਲਸੇ।
Thus was created a dispute amongst the Khalsa

The Jhatka (meat) of a Jhatka’d a Pig/Boar, Bhai Manni Singh ordered
ਸੰਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਥੀਂ ਆਦਿ ਲੈ ਬੰਦਈਅਨ ਦੀਯੋ ਛਕਾਇ ।੧੫੦।
First to Sangat Singh, then the rest of the Bandai (Khalsa), did he make them eat (Jhatka)
ਲਾਇ ਤਨਖਾਹ ਬਖਸ਼ੇ ਸਭੀ, ਨੀਲੰਬਰ ਪਹਿਨਾਇ।।
They were then forgiven and their ex-communication removed, they were clothed in blue (Banda Bahadur had previously changed Gurus baana to red)
ਭਰਮ ਭੇਦ ਸਭ ਮਿਟ ਗਯੋ, ਭਈ ਏਕਤਾ ਆਇ।੧੪੧।
All superstitions and doubts were eliminated, and UNIFICATION (of the Panth) was achieved
