Conversation between Guru Gobind Singh Ji and a devotee named Jait Ram. Jait Ram is the chief of Dera Dadu Dvaar near Jaipur whom Guru Sahib met on the way to Deccan/Dakhan Des. Jait Ram insists that Guru Sahib and His Sikhs set up camp at their Dera for a meal.

“Please let us host you (and your army) for one meal;
And let us stay true to our Dharam (of serving you).”

Guru Gobind Singh answered with a grin-
“You won’t be able to serve us all.

Many of my companions partake in meat;
Their hunger will need to be satisfied as well.”
