‘The Guru adorned one bedstead and upon it’s neighbor he placed a multitude of weaponry. Among it were bows, swords and other implements of conflict. All this was being wafted with incense. Upon arriving Kapura witnessed the canopy covering this scene and the personage of the Guru.
In paroxyms of scepticism the Jat approached the Guru. Seating himself by the Guru he uttered the following in tones laced with derision, “what is this charade which you are performing here now? Fine! Have a whisk waved over yourself but over bows arrows, swords and thus?
“Why even indulge in such acts? Your own neophytes laugh beyond your back, and in their own homes question this practice. What in the world is all this? They ask.” The Guru then retaliated and shattered the bloated Jat’s narcissism.
“I,” the Guru began, “am the Guru of the world and this is ubiquitous. To pay obeisance to these Shastars is justifiable and decorous. These weapons are my Guru! Chaudary, heed this bitter truth, you question me but now let me question you!
What have we witnessed with you? What should we call the charade which you have played? Weaponless and fearful you forfeited your own home. Turning your back on your Guru, all your spiritual progress was rubbished and now no divine understanding remains.
From the foremost to the final, the sword was and shall be recognized as the primal Guru; the fierceness of which will forever be praised in the world. It is only through Divine Grace that we utter the praises of the Sri Guru Arrow.
The secrets and workings of all other weapons I have housed in the Sri Dasam Granth. Since the birth of time, Kaal Ki Kaal (the demise of death) Sri Maha-Kaal, and the goddess sword (Bhagauti) have been reverenced.*
Obtain lights and incense and bow humbly towards these weapons. The mind becomes greatly accomplished and obtains knowledge of the Divine mystery. But tell me Kapura Chaudary, how can an idiot be made to understand these facts?”‘
